Extract audio

Save the audio from a video as MP3, WAV, M4A or FLAC. Select a track when the video has more than one.

Export settings

Choose a file to get started.

Your file stays on this device. The processing engine downloads once when you export (about 31 MB). Smaller clips work best; keep this tab open.

How to use extract audio

  1. Choose your original file. Review the preview when your browser supports it.
  2. Set your export options.
  3. Export, play the result and download the finished file.

Before you export

WAV and FLAC preserve the decoded audio; they cannot restore detail already lost in a compressed source. MP3 and M4A use lossy encoding.

Browser memory and codec support vary. For large projects, use a desktop editor. Read the related guide →
